"What would you like to be when you grow up?" Is a very common question that many children are asked as early as Kindergarten. The common response as to their career choices are usually based on what they see in the media and who they interact with regularly. At Our Kidz First, we know that there areMANY great careers that students do not explore as career paths, simply because they do not know about them. The path to success is different for everyone and very rarely is it a straight path.
Goal: Our Kidz First, in partnership with Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) and Montgomery College, are teaming up with leaders from a variety of career fields to engage with 9th and 10th grade, first generation students in a personable and interactive setting. This event will be held on MAY 22, 2018 at the Montgomery College Germantown Campus. Will you sponsor 2 or more of our kids? We anticipate approximately 180 students at the annual career fair and your support of only $39 per child will provide:
*Registration
*Free Breakfast
*Free lunch
*Free bags
*Snacks, Raffle items, etc.,
